Join published author and artist, Pippa Pixley, for an exciting introduction to expressive watercolour painting. Learn tips and techniques for creating texture, movement, and fluidity. We will create gestural pieces that reflect the wonders of the landscape, the sparkle of the sea, the changing moods of the sky, and the beauty of the sea and land.
Pippa will show you how to work with a variety of mediums and grounds for creating texture. She will share with you her tips and techniques for creating expressive, gestural and free landscapes. Although this is mainly a watercolour class it will include other waterbased paints such as acrylic and gouache too.
“This lovely workshop is set in the heart of the Peak District National Park so I will be drawing inspiration from this lovely landscape as well as from the coastal regions.
