Butterfly Draw-a-Long
Butterflies are beautiful flying insects that come in so many fabulous colours and patterns. Just like bees, they have a long tongue called a proboscis that they use for slurping nectar from flowers. On a chilly day, butterflies spread their wings to warm themselves in a ray of sunlight – the perfect time to photograph or sketch one!
These lovely creatures are sadly in decline in many places. Can you help them by planting flowers they like in your garden or window box?
Pippa makes drawing easy by breaking the process down into a series of simple shapes that children are already familiar with – letters of the alphabet, circles & squares, smiles and frowns…
